Pondera Physio & Pilates is a modern Physiotherapy clinic offering experienced Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Remedial Massage Therapists for the Coorparoo community. We also have a spacious, well-equipped Rehabilitation gym and Pilates studio on-site.

We’re based in Brisbane’s thriving West End and we care for people from all walks of life, from recreational to elite athletes, amateur and professional performing artists plus clients suffering from a range of injuries or ailments.

Our Physiotherapists are highly experienced in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions – back, neck and knee pain, joint & muscle injuries and headaches.

In addition, we are one of only a few clinics in Brisbane with Physios who have danced professionally themselves and now work with dancers of all genres and level of experience to help them recover from injury and improve their performance. We also run regular dance conditioning clinics and will advise a suitable time for dancers to go “en pointe”.

As consultants to the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Queensland Conservatorium, our Practice Director, David Peirce has vast experience and a strong working knowledge of musicians’ injuries, the physical stresses involved and practical solutions to reduce pain and allow playing to continue.

Our Rehabilitation Gym and Pilates Studio

Pondera offers a range of services providing individual rehabilitation, strength and fitness programs in studio. Depending on your clinical needs, we have two streams of Pilates based programs – our Physiotherapy stream and our ‘Performance Pilates’ stream.

In addition to Pilates equipment, our studio also boasts a cable system, Smith machine with both free and guided bars, free weights, cardio bike, TRX systems, fitballs and other training & rehabilitation gear – it’s not just Pilates but a complete rehabilitation and fitness opportunity.
