Pamela O’Connor

North Lakes

Remedial Massage Therapist

As a cancer survivor who developed lymphoedema a few years ago, Pamela made the life-altering decision to become a massage therapist so she could learn how to manage her condition plus help others with their health issues.

As well as being a qualified Massage Therapist, she has also completed further training in manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder method) and is now a lymphoedema practitioner. Her prime focus for clients diagnosed with lymphoedema is a holistic approach based on education and self-management. She is passionate about growing public awareness of lymphoedema and the importance of early intervention. She believes her own experience will help others to understand and manage their health conditions, so they can live life to the fullest.

As well as manual lymphatic drainage lymph, Pamela also offers taping, Ldex measurement, education, skin care, plus advice on exercise and garments/compression. Separate diagnosis of the  condition is required.

Pamela also provides relaxing yet effective treatments using various remedial techniques such as manual lymphatic drainage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and sports massage.

Pamela has a Diploma in Remedial Massage and Cert IV Massage Therapy Practice.
