At Pondera we consider Remedial Massage Therapy & Myotherapy as an integral part of our service and care model.
Our therapists work closely with our Physiotherapists to coordinate your treatment and provide the right mixture of remedial, deep tissue, sports or relaxation massage techniques.

Casey has just move to Brisbane from Perth chasing her Paralympic dream to race in para triathlon in Tokyo.
She holds an advanced diploma in Remedial Massage (Myotherapy)
As a Myotherapist – Casey is qualified in myofascial release techniques, dry needling, taping, sports cupping, and trigger point therapy.
Casey has been working in the Myotherapy industry for 10 years.
Her speciality area is sports and women’s health having previously worked previously work with the Tennis Open, AFL, Triathlon, ultra-marathon and cycling.
Last year Casey was the first blind Australian female to race in an ironman triathlon in WA.
In July she will be running in her first Marathon at the Gold Coast.
Casey’s companion and Pondera’s newest staff member is Bridget – her black English Labrador.

Hi my name is Bridget, I am Casey’s guide dog.
I am 4 years old and I am a black Labrador.
Please don’t pat me when I have my harness on.
Please don’t feed me as I am on a guide dog diet.
I wait on my professional bean bag until Casey has finish work.
I love tummy rubs and I am a great listener.
My favourite hobbies when I’m off duty are – playing ball, swimming and searching for food.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Jo has over 20 years of professional Massage Therapy experience.
She has been at Pondera since 2012, and prior to that, worked in a variety of Clinical settings including Chiropractic, Osteopathic, Massage Clinic, as well as mobile appointments.
Jo has a Diploma in Remedial Therapy, a Bachelor of Exercise Science, and an Associate Diploma in Dance.
She is a member of ANTA, and is registered as a Health Fund Provider.
