At Pondera West End our fully qualified and experienced Exercise Physiologist works in a supervisory capacity in our Pilates and Rehabilitation Studio as well as guiding clients in our Performance Pilates stream.  He works closely with our Physiotherapists and Pilates Instructor to ensure the best outcomes for our clients, and all staff regularly undergo regular in-service training to ensure we can offer a consistent level of care and expertise for your program.

Our Exercise Physiologist is also available for consultations under CDM (Chronic Disease Management) programs under Medicare on referral from your GP.

Stephen Wellington - Pondera

After returning to Australia from a ten year professional dance career, Stephen trained as an Exercise Physiologist working alongside Physiotherapists.

Stephen has a particular passion for biomechanics and functional anatomy, with his primary focus on helping clients get the most out of their bodies.

He has over ten year’s industry experience that has seen him work with all age groups and all levels of physical fitness from 80 year-olds learning to walk again, to elite athletes in a multitude of sports.

Stephen works in group situations or conducts 1-on-1 sessions to create individualised programs, and also assists clients with the design and implementation of at-home programs.

Olivia Patterson

Olivia is currently studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) at the University of Queensland (in her third year in 2019) and supervises our valued clients as they undertake their tailored exercise programs in our Pilates, Gym and Rehabilitation studio.

Olivia is in the Studio on Tuesday afternoons, Friday and Saturday mornings and also runs Pondera’s unique circuit class, Aerobilates bright and early on Saturdays!

In her spare time, Olivia can be found running, playing touch football or at the gym.
