TREATMENT & REHABILITATION OF INJURIES
Injuries are thoroughly assessed & treated appropriately with manual techniques & exercise prescription. Contributing factors relating to the injury are addressed to prevent reoccurrence. Relative rest is promoted without complete cessation of training. Common Dance Injuries managed are for the Foot, Knee, Hip, Back & Shoulder

PRE POINTE PROGRAMS
Individual assessments are conducted 6 months prior to beginning pointe work, based on current dance medicine research. Joint range of motion, flexibility, endurance & motor control issues specific to pointe work will be assessed & a tailored program will be designed & progressed bimonthly. Dancers will be provided with educational handouts to best prepare them to prevent injury.

PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMS
An individual assessment is performed to design a studio and home exercise program specific to the needs of the dancer. Programs may be designed to improve aspects such as turnout, hamstring and adductor flexibility for splits, core/pelvic stability, ankle control, alignment and dance technique or correct muscle imbalances. Each 3 months the dancer is re assessed & their programs progressed to continue performance improvement & injury prevention. Each dancer will be provided with educational handouts to fuel their knowledge to best prepare themselves for careers

HOLIDAY DANCER PILATES
Each school holidays dancers can participate in Pilates programs specific to dance. A short assessment is performed to direct group programs specific to the individuals. Holidays are an ideal time to devote to addressing strength, flexibility &technique concerns.
