Physiotherapy

"Physiotherapy is a therapeutic health profession concerned with enhancing mobility and quality of life by using clinical reasoning to deliver the most suitable treatment for an injury or condition. Physiotherapists help people gain as much movement and physical independence as possible so they can resume their normal job or lifestyle. Physiotherapists assess, diagnose and treat people with movement problems. They also deliver patient education and help people avoid injuries and maintain a fit, healthy body." (taken from the Australian Physiotherapy Association Website)

At Pondera, our Physiotherapists use a combination of manual therapy & exercise programming to enhance joint movement and retrain muscle patterns to maintain permanent improvement. One hour initial appointments allow us adequate time to take a thorough history, assess your physical parameters, diagnose the source of your pain or problem and form a suitable treatment plan. All Physiotherapy sessions are one on one, no running from patient to patient or leaving you wondering what to do next.

Can we fix everything?….. NO!. If we are not confident with our treatment plan or unsure as to where to guide your program, we will use our wide network of fellow health professionals to work in conjunction with us or give a second opinion. Our primary aim to is help you get rid of pain and achieve your goals – if we can’t do it we will find you someone who can.
